My most beautiful holiday experience

It's nice to feel at home on holiday and that is how I feel when I am at the Hotel Pradat

Thinking about my best days of the year spreads a smile on my lips and my heart starts to skip a beat. I love to spend this time at the Hotel Pradat, a three-star hotel in Corvara that has been run by the Miribung family for 60 years. What I like best about it? Well, there are many things, but what inspires me the most is the luxury of simplicity, as I like to call it. In particular, I appreciate a sincere smile, the small attentions and the care for details. I can spot all of this here at the Pradat! Oh and then there are the colourful dirndl that Paulina and Christina are wearing so proudly. The Ladin language. The local wood used in the rooms and suites. The many South Tyrolean delicacies. And last but not least, there is the stunning view of the local mountain, the Sassongher, which never ceases to amaze me! Besides, when the Miribung ladies start to share their traditions and customs in the Dolomites, I really get carried away.

For me, the Hotel Pradat is simply #mipostdlcör!

Authentic and sincere: like the love for one's land

The geraniums on the balconies, the local wood, the scent of the traditional food: at the Pradat I feel the love and connection to the Ladin homeland. And this runs like a red thread through the entire house.

Life becomes sweeter with surprises: how true this is

It might be due to the fact that the hotel is run by three women (sorry, guys!), in fact I can feel in every day that at the Pradat they try to inspire their guests anew every day.

A few minutes' walk and I am in the middle of the action

My hotel is located in Corvara , very quietly, nevertheless it only takes a few minutes walk to reach the ski slopes and the hiking trails. That's a strong plus of the Hotel Pradat.

I love being pampered, on holiday even more

Mmmh… this scent of fresh bread and homemade desserts really does get me out of bed early in the morning. That's when I know Mamma Rita is preparing the "Gustè" for her guests.  I can't wait to start my day in Corvara with full gusto. After an energetic breakfast, off to discover Alta Badia on foot, by bike or on skis. Or who knows, I might even indulge in lazing around in the spacious wellness area with its panoramic saunas.

And, in the evening, I am treated to the daily changing dishes from the Ladin and Italian cuisine, which are prepared by Salvatore., the Sicilian house chef.
